Pursuing higher education has always been a significant goal for me; enrolling in Radiation Therapy marks a meaningful step in continuing my academic journey. After previously completing my studies, I decided to return to school because I realized that I wanted a career that not only offers stability and growth, but also allows me to make a difference in people’s lives. Radiation therapy provides that opportunity. It combines my interest in healthcare with my desire to serve patients during some of the most challenging times of their lives.
By pursuing this degree, I am not only investing in my future but also in the well-being of the Fort Lauderdale community. Cancer care is an area that touches countless families, and being able to contribute to improving patient outcomes through advanced technology and compassionate care is deeply motivating. My education will equip me with both the clinical knowledge and professional skills necessary to provide quality care to patients while supporting their families with dignity and respect.
On a personal level, returning to school has been a commitment to resilience and growth. It reflects my determination to overcome challenges, remain adaptable, and pursue a career path that aligns with my values. Professionally, this program will prepare me for a role where I can combine technical expertise with empathy, while community-wise, it will allow me to contribute to the health and healing of Fort Lauderdale residents. This balance of purpose, skill, and service drives me to pursue radiation therapy with passion and commitment.
