The number of scholarships and size of the scholarship award depends on how much money we raise via our grassroots campaign. The scholarship will initially be offered for one year, with future funding contingent upon both our available funds and the student’s academic performance.

Shattering Glass Ceilings Scholarship has various methods to make a donation. Donations are tax-deductible and all donations go to fund scholarships.

You can make a donation via PayPal by clicking the donate button below. Please make sure to select the scholarship (national or North Carolina) you want to donate to in the drop-down menu.

You can also contribute to our gofundme campaign.

If you prefer, you can make your donation via a personal check. Donating this way saves processing fees that PayPal and gofundme charges. Please make checks payable to “Kerosene Lamp Foundation” and write “Donate to Shattering Glass Ceilings Scholarship” on the memo line. Personal checks can be sent to Emily. If you prefer to donate via a charitable fund, please note that Shattering Glass Ceilings Scholarship is under the umbrella of the non-profit organization Kerosene Lamp Foundation (EIN# 01-0857784), whose mission is to empower youth to grow into healthy and well-educated adults. If donating through a charitable account, please ensure that checks are sent directly from the fund to Kerosene Lamp Foundation at 25A Crescent Dr. #131, Pleasant Hill, CA 94523.
